Best Mashup Songs For Workout
I am a music fan and love to walk my stress out of my daily life. My experience says that whenever you are stressed or emotionally upset the only way to come out of depressing self-pity is by strengthening yourself through music and exercise. Music soothes the mind and exercise relax the body. As a result when after a long tiring workout you sleep at night you forget all your worries and after a refreshing sleep are well equipped for a new journey next morning. That is the power of working out with music.
Sometime back I had posted a list of Bollywood songs for brisk walk and after seeing the response of readers and friends I decided to do another post on Mashup songs which are good for any kind of workout. These mash-up songs are easily available on Youtube so I am going to add links also here. It is up to you how you use these songs. If you ask me I use these for brisk walking and Leslie Sansone’s “Walk at Home Program” too. Those who are well versed with Leslie Sansone’s Walk at Home program will agree that doing her aerobic moves on these remixed mash-ups is fun.
I have tried to include Indian as well as the Western collection for every genre to be enjoyed while walking.
My favourite five Mash-up songs
This is a collection of everyone’s favorite current western Pop hits. A perfect mix of beat and songs for any workout you wish to do. Walk, jog, run, treadmill, aerobics or anything you wish to do on the beat which is around 128 bpm.
For the lovers of Bollywood music this collection of 2014 songs by Pierre Ferns is ultimate. It’s Bollywood Non Stop 2014 DANCE MIX [Vol II] is a good collection of mixed songs. The duration is 1 hour 4 minutes 3 seconds to be precise, so quite a long enough workout to make you burn a lot depending on what you do with this collection … just relax and walk or jog and run. If you are in a mood to chill and just walk while it is drizzling or breezy outside then this collection is just The Perfect one for you.
Another one by Pierre Ferns, with a bit faster songs excellent for intervals or running. Its duration is 1 hour 4 minutes and 51 seconds. It’s Bollywood Non Stop 2014 DANCE MIX [Vol 1] with the title Jugni. Frankly speaking I would love to do intervals with it.
A 45 minutes 19 seconds mashup by DJay Milan, titled Bollywood Best DJ’s Remixes/Mashups Nonstop Mix is a collection of peppy old as well as new songs. Good for intervals and brisk walk.
Exclusive collection of Yo Yo Honey Singh for the younger lot who like his rap. Duration is 1 hour 46 minutes and 20 seconds. It has the best of his 2014 songs. Titled Best of Yo Yo Honey Singh Top 2014 – 27 Hit Songs. In fact it is not really a mash up but just a collection of his songs but I included it in this post because of its beat which is good for all kinds of work outs. Lungi Dance is perfect for aerobic moves of Leslie Sansone.
So these are my favourite collection of workout mash up albums. Now it’s time for me to go for a late night walk with one of the collections.
