Cutlets With 1tsp Oil |Healthy Sprout Cutlets Recipe|Low Carb Veg
Hello Everyone,
I am back with another interesting food recipe which I tried recently and as usual I couldn’t keep it to myself and so I am sharing with you all.
Who doesn’t like cutlets? The crispy chunks of veggies taste so yumm! Well, the cutlets are surely very tasteful but because they are deep fried in lot of oil, it sometimes makes a bad choice for those people who prefer to eat healthy and less oily food. But here I am sharing a really unique recipe of cutlets which requires just 1 tsp of oil and it is as crispy as cutlets are.
One can use leftover sprouts to make this cutlet recipe if you are just fed up of eating it in salad. This is low in carb and tastes great. It will even make you forget about those yummy cutlets you used to have all through childhood.
I have used moong & lobia sprouts. You can checkout a useful post on How to make sprouts.
Ingredients-
- Moong sprouts
- Lobia sprouts
- Besan (2-3 tbsp)
- Red chilli powder
- Green chilli (finely chopped)
- Salt as per taste
Method of Preparation-
Grind all the sprouts and add all the other ingredients to make a smooth thick paste . Now lace the paste in small equal lumps in the form of cutlets on the tandoor base and cook.
Wonderchef Kapoor Super Tandoor
Why I love Wonder chef super tandoor-
- Not very expensive
- Easy to clean
- You can make so many things in it from paneer tikka to grilled sandwiches and with hardly any oil so what more one need
You can buy it from flipkart here.
One can brush the oil on the cutlets. These cutlets turn out to be a little harder so if you add a boiled potato or 100g paneer in it, then these cutlets are going to be softer. Although these little hard cutlets work great for me. I also tried to grill some green chillies in this tandoor and for the first time in my life I liked having green chillies grilled this way :-p
One batch of 5 cutlets is going to take a time duration of 15 minutes.
I would surely recommend all you fitness lovers to try it out as it is healthy and will fill you up and make you stay put on your weight loss journey 🙂
Do try out and share your experience as well.
