Taking a short break from my yoga series and quickly adding an update about my latest health quest, I had to try it to believe it. The latest fad about Acai berry, had to come to pass through my test 😉 So while I was enjoying my Christmas holiday,I decided to order a bunch of health supplements to support my regime of fitness. To be honest I had been skipping my work outs mainly because everyone here was in a Christmas mood and all my options were closed for a workout, except practicing yoga at home 😀 I love to workout, it gives me a sense of happiness.
Let me tell you that no matter what you eat and what supplements you take, including workout or any kind of exercise in your regime is important and by exercise I don’t mean a leisure walk in your park, I mean a serious dedicated one hour per day/three days per week workout.
Anyhow, moving on to my review on Acai berry, this post does not emphasize on the brand, but a general outlook on acai berry supplements, so that you can opt for what is available at ease to you.
The acai berry is a rich purple palm fruit indigenous to the Amazon rainforest. For hundreds of years, these small dark berries have been integral to the diet of native Amazon people.
As a purple fruit, acai berries naturally contain the purple pigments known as anthocyanins.
Acai berries are highly nutritious with a unique flavour and texture.

How has Acai berry supplements helped me?
I have added Acai berry in my daily lifestyle, I wont say that it has helped me loose any weight! But definitely I feel energized. I do not feel lazy at all, I get regular bowel. I have never faced any digestive problems, I try eating clean and fresh, although I do indulge in a sweet tooth.
I also have felt that I do not feel hungry in between meals, since I feel hungry all the time. By taking acai berry supplements, my appetite has gone down a bit. I think I needed that, since I was feeling my diet had increased. I feel that I eat less and I do not need to eat a lot. I am not saying I have lost weight, in fact none. Maybe I have to increase my workout now, to get good results.
Best time to take the supplements
I take supplements after my meals, as suggested on the bottle, right now I take two tablets after my dinner. Although people take 3 per day or even more. But I first want to see how it suits me.
What to expect?
Do not expect miracles. For results, you need to have a proper regime in place, only then you can benefit from having Acai berry in your diet.
What to do next?
After you have included some supplements in your diet, I suggest you re-look at your meals, eating out patterns and healthy options to help you achieve your target. I label Acai berry as weight management supplements rather than weight loss aids.
A word of caution
Remember, Acai berry supplements are absolutely natural, but if you must consult your doctor in case you are pregnant, suffering from thyroid malfunctions.
