If you live in India then you will mostly hear about cauliflower sabji or pakoras but `Cauliflower is such a versatile vegetable and I had no clue about it.Recently when I searched about this vegetable then I found out so many recipes that it excited me.
If you are hungry then cauliflower can be an excellent snack.Its crunchy and makes you feel fuller after few bites itself.Also , its considered to to be one of the ideal weight loss companion and taste just amazing.So I will rant less and share with you the recipe of this Low carb full of cheese caulowflower recipe. Ofcourse its the Indian version of popular fried MAC & Cheese recipe.
1 head caulifllower grated.(Don’t use the steam just the head)
1 cup cheddar cheese grated
2 large eggs or you can use three
red chilli powder(as per taste)
salt (as per taste)
garam masala(as per taste)
Oil for frying (If you are following wheat belly, low carb high fat then use coconut, ghee otherwise your regular oil)
Method And Preparations:-
- Step 1- In a food processor rice the cauliflower.You can grate in the absence of the food processor.
- Step2 – Now in a muslin cloth squeeze out cauliflower juice so that it is left with no water otherwise chances of cauliflower bites breaking while frying are little high
- Step3 -Now add cheese, eggs, red chilli powder, salt and mix it all together and form into a thick paste.
- Step4 – Make small balls of your choice and deep fry it.
Yummy crispy cauliflower bites are ready to be served.
P.S – If you find the mixture still runny then add bit of gram flour .
