3) Jot down things in your to-do list

It can be anything, right from doing household chores to making phone calls to doing office related work. This way of noting down things will make you feel more organized and will not forget completing those tasks.
4) Clear your desk
You need clear all the clutter that you have piled up on your work desk. Having a totally messed up desk with piles and piles of papers and files all around you will never allow you to focus on your work. You need to get rid of what you don’t need and keep your files organized in your drawer. Before you start working you need to keep your desk clean.
5) Reduce the amount of time you spend on social media
Try to minimize the time you spend or rather waste on social media. The chief cause of why you tend to postpone your work is that you are on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and WhatsApp. You simply waste your precious time here. When you have a lot of pending work and less time to finish those, it would be advisable to deactivate your account or uninstall the apps from your phone for a few days so that you can complete your pending work without any distractions. It will be like a social media detox and will be of great help.
