And they best part is that they are so easy to make, you will be making them every day. When you know what you’re putting in these tasty brews is good for you, you will enjoy them even more.

  1. Watermelon and lime Mocktail

Watermelon and lime MocktailThis is such a refreshing summery drink. Watermelons are a great way to relax on a sultry summer after. And watermelon juice is an even greater way to quench your thirst. Add to that a bit of lemon juice and you have the most refreshing drink of summer.

De-seed watermelons and cut them in small pieces. Puree the watermelon, and sieve it. You can skip this step if you love pulp.  Blend it with ½ teaspoon lemon juice and if you need more sweetness 1 teaspoon of honey. You can also add ½ or 1 cup of water, depending on the consistency of the juice you prefer. Add a few ice cubes and drink chilled.

You can also try wheatgrass with carrots, ginger, and beetroot. And if you’re feeling adventurous you could try blending an espresso shot with wheatgrass.

3.      Homemade fresh ginger ale

All you need to do is mince a 1 and a ½ Inch piece of ginger, 2 tablespoons of sugar or honey, ½ cup of lemon juice and 8 cups of water. Boil together ginger, 3 cups of water and sugar in a saucepan. Simmer this mixture until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and add the rest of the water. Allow it to cool. Add the lemon juice and store this mixture in an air tight jar. You will need to leave this mixture for 2-3 days. You can then strain and refrigerate before drinking.

There is no one formula for making an Elixir tea, any aromatic tea that combines the benefits of few ingredients can be called Elixir tea. Try having a spicy brew first thing in the morning. Add a dash of pepper, 2-3 crushed cardamom pods, and ½ inch ginger to 1 cup of boiling water and let it brew for a minute or so. This will cleanse you and will get you started on your day, fresh and ready.

To make this interesting lemonade crush a tablespoon of fresh lavender flowers and keep aside. Bring 2 cups of water to boil. Remove from heat and add a teaspoon of honey. Add the lavender to the honey water and keep aside. This way the flavor will be infused in the water. Sieve and pour the water in a jug and add 2tablespoon of lemon juice and 2 cups of cold water to this mixture. Let it chill in the fridge before you enjoy this unique drink.

You can use green tea powder to make this drink. Fill a bottle with water. Add ¼ teaspoon of the powder, put the bottle cap and shake it till the powder has dissolved. Your natural energy drink is ready!

You will two lemons, ½ a cucumber, 10-15 mint leaves and of course water.

Peel and slice cucumbers and place in a huge pitcher. Add mint leaves and sliced lemons. Add water, and leave it overnight to chill. If you do have this regularly, make sure you replace the fruits once the water is over.

This drink will keep you hydrated and will also prevent water retention.
