Fenugreek
Fenugreek normalizes hormonal levels by improving insulin resistance. Besides having fenugreek leaves or seeds in your diet, you can follow a good home remedy. Soak some fenugreek seeds overnight. Take them thrice a day with honey. Start taking 1 tsp. at an empty stomach in the morning, then 1 tsp. before lunch and 1 tsp. prior to dinner.
Flax Seeds
Flax seeds reduce the level of androgenic hormones like testosterone. Grind flax seeds and take 1 tbsp. daily with water.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar also helps in regulating male hormones by regulating blood sugar levels. Mix 2 tsp. raw apple cider vinegar with water and drink a glass daily in the morning. It is very good for weight loss.
Licorice
This is another herb that reduces levels of testosterone hormone in women. It also promotes ovulation and reduces hirsutism. Make a concoction of 1 teaspoon dried licorice root with a cup of boiling water. Simmer for 10 minutes and strain. Take it thrice daily.
Fish Oil
Omega 3 in fisg oil is really good for overall health. It also helps in reducing the level of androgens in women. Eat more fish or simply include fish oil capsules in your regimen.
Holy Basil
It is present in most Indian homes. Holy basil or tulsi reduces levels of male hormones and also aids weight loss. It reduces blood sugar levels too. You can chew fresh holy basil leaves daily in the morning or can boil them in water and drink it.
Chaste Berry
It is called so as it supposedly lowers sexual desire. It helps in regulating periods. Boil a cup of water and add 1 tsp. chaste berry to it. Let it steep for 10 minutes before straining. Drink it daily till you see improvement.
Spearmint Tea
This herb is also known to lower the levels of male hormones in women. It can also reduce hirsutism in females. Boil a cup of water and add 1 tsp dried spearmint tea leaves to it. Simmer for 10 minutes and strain. Take it twice daily.

Saw palmetto reduces androgens in women and also prevents unwanted hair growth. Dry and liquid extracts of saw palmetto are available in the market and can be taken after consulting with a doctor. Pregnant and lactating mothers should not take it.
