Broccoli is rich in potassium. Pottasium is an extremely important nutrient required for healthy nervous system,regular muscle growth and proper brain function.

Broccoli contains high levels of both calcium and vitamin K. Now Calcium, we know is important for prevention of osteoporosis and good bone health. Vitamin K has the same function as that of Calcium in the body.

  1. I have thyroid and (in UK) they ask you to keep away from broccoli and cauliflower if you have thyroid…. and also cabbage… but I love these veggies to death…. hmmmm….
