4 Papaya Smoothie For Weight Loss

Papaya is delicious and nutritious. This sweet, yellow delight is full of anti-oxidants and helps in proper functioning of the digestive system. Papaya is rich in many vitamins like A, E and K.

Its anti-inflammatory properties reduce the risk of rheumatois arthritis. Lycopene in papaya is considered to protect from prostate cancer.

Papaya is yummy and can be eaten as it is but its taste and benefits can be increased manifold by mixing it with various fruits to make smoothies. Here are 4 different ways by which you can make a quick and healthy papaya treat-

 Papaya Orange Smoothie:-

  • 1/2 cups peeled and cubes papaya.
  • 1 peeled orange
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tsp soaked chia seeds

Papaya Apple Smoothie:-

  • 2 cups papaya peeled and cubed
  • 1 apple cored
  • 1 cup baby spinach leaves or fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 cup water (More or less as per desired quantity)
  • 2tsp soaked chia seeds

 

Papaya Pineapple Smoothie:-

  • 2 and 1/2 cups peeled and deseeded papaya
  • 1 cup peeled pineapple
  • 1 cups fresh baby spinach (or other leafy green)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tsp soaked chia seeds

 

Papaya Melon Smoothie:-

  • 1 cup papaya peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup peeled and cubed muskmelon
  • 1 cored pear
  • 1/2 cup water

Recipe

Whichever smoothie you decide to whip, just take all the ingredients except water in a blender jar and blend well to make a smooth paste.

take it out n a glass and adjust the consistency of your smoothie with water.These smoothie will keep you full for long time and keep can be used as a meal replacement.

You can add fresh spinach in all the above smoothies:)

  1. pappaya apple and spinach ?? have nt heard that combo before. used to try pappaya and milk smoothie. are these chia seeds and flax seeds one and the same ?

  3. Thinking of having it immediately if some one prepares and gives. No no..will make myself..Now a days i started preparing my own food.
    But i have few doubts.
    Can i use it as a meal replacement for dinner(by 8 pm)
    and i usually miss the portion control. How much grams does a cup hold? Is the quantity u gave is for single glass(250 ml)?

  4. Hi , you can use it as per your liking as a meal replacement..i generally prefer it in morning or afternoon..

    My glass if of around 250-300 ml but u can always adjust the taste as per your liking 🙂
