5 Indian Vegetarian Diets For Fast Weight Loss

A lot of Indians believes that eating non vegetarian food is a sin ! And off late a lot of readers have asked about Indian Vegetarian Diet For Fast Weight Loss.

I went to Sri Sri Ravishankar’s Aashram for a course , where a trainer said that our body is not made to digest non vegetarian food and that ‘Saatwik Bhojan’ is the way of eating for humans. Rujuta Diwekar in her books mentioned the same – never eat beef, pork etc.

From a clean slate perspective, Humans exist on the top of the food chain and I see no reason as to why humans should be herbivore ! On top of it, do you think our ancestor, the cave man would be searching for grains n fruits , instead of hunting ? I would love to know your thoughts on it, let me know 🙂

I don’t eat non veg coz I am totally an animal lover and it has nothing to do with vegan diets being healthy. Anyway, since I eat only eggs and no meat, pretty much I follow vegetarian diet. I know for a fact, that its difficult to lose weight if you are strictly vegetarian but not impossible. You will lose slow on vegetarian diet, but it will definitely happen.

Eating green salad and fruits is also another way that focuses on lowering GI. Don’t be fooled by the name, its the same as GM diet. Just that it involves more intake of cabbage soup which is great for weight loss.

Which is the best Indian Vegetarian Diet For Fast Weight Loss ?

My personal opinion is that a combination of all the above diets would work wonderful. If I were to pick one, my pick would be Low GI diet for sure !

    I got a question.I know that mango is high calorie food.But staying away from it is almost impossible for me.What if if I have one mango and yogurt for my dinner.You know, that is all for the dinner.And nomore mango the whole day.So would that you know a ,healthy dinner option?Or having mango at night(say 8-8.30)would not be a good option?
