Seeds are an important part of anyone’s diet. If you are trying to lose weight, then they are all the more important. Some of the seeds add much needed fibre , whereas a few have special nutritional value as well.

1. Chia Seeds

These are also called sabja seeds in Hindi. Seems these are Anamika’s favorite. She mentioned that she consumes them in her buttermilk, nice idea hmm 🙂 . 2. Flax Seeds

Aaaha , my favourite <3 <3 . I love to have flax seeds, these are also called alasi seeds, read about them here. These are one of the healthiest seeds and extremely filling  I recently tried roasted and salted flax seeds, amaaaazing they taste :). If you are in Bangalore, you will find salted ones for sure in supermarkets.

3. Fenugreek/Methi seeds

I have never tasted these, want to get them in this weekend’s grocery shopping ! These are full of antioxidants, fibre, vitamins and minerals.
