As a toothpaste to whiten teeth

Just take a teaspoon of salt and rub it with your finger over your teeth and gums, you can use your toothbrush for the same too! Now a days you get toothpastes with salt as an ingredient which proves that salt is good for the teeth!!
As a bath soak to help you relax
Salt is known to help cleanse the skin pores deeply by absorbing the toxins and dirt. The minerals present in salt help in protecting the skin and retaining its moisture. This is why your skin does not wrinkle after a soak in salt water. To get your bath tub ready mix a cup of salt and a few coconut oil or almond oil drops and soak happily for 15 mins to half an hour.
Use it in a face mask for your skin
The recipe of the face mask has salt and honey in it. Both the ingredients have anti-inflammatory properties. This helps in soothing the skin and preventing blotchiness and breakouts. It helps in balancing oil production of the skin and retaining its moisture so that it remains supple.
Mix 2 teaspoons of sea salt with 4 teaspoons of raw honey to get a paste like consistency. Clean and dry your skin and apply the paste generously. Let it remain on your skin for 15 to 20 minutes. After that just massage your face gently in circular motion. Your skin will get exfoliated. Rinse the mask off and pat dry your face.
As a body scrub to soften your skin
When used as a body scrub, it removes flakes of dead skin. The minerals help in restoring moisture and softening skin. To half a cup of salt add half a cup of coconut oil or olive oil. Apply this while bathing and scrub it in your skin gently in a circular motion.
As a nail brightener
Salt is known for softening the cuticles and strengthening the nails. Adding baking soda and lemon help reduce the yellowing and stains on the nails. In half a cup of warm water, add one teaspoon of salt, one of baking soda and one of lemon juice. Soak nails in this solution for about 15 mins and scrub off the skin with a soft brush. Wash your hands with cold water and then moisturize.
As a foot soak
When you have aching feet after a spending long day in your heels, there is nothing like a foot soak. To a small tub of hot water add half a cup of salt and let your feet soak there for a while, till the water cools down. You are bound to get some relief.
