2) Bad breath
Bad breath is a very embarrassing issue as it becomes difficult to mingle with people without leaving a negative impression. It usually occurs when the body goes through a metabolic process called ketosis. When the glucose level in the body is not sufficient to be used up as energy, the body burns stored fats and as a result of this, there is a build-up of ketones in the body. Those who are watching their weight most often go on a low carb diet and as a result of that ketosis takes place. This is why they have a bad breath. Another reason for having cuts and cracks are fungal or bacterial infections. Apply petroleum jelly or a lip balm. If it worsens, you should seek medical help.
5) Poor skin health
The skin can tell you when there is something wrong going on inside. If your diet is not balanced, it can cause pimples and acne. There can also be white-colored patches on the skin which are due to the deficiency of calcium. Start eating healthy and you will see a tremendous change in your skin health.
