Hey People!

Do you love Pizza? I’m sure that you all do. It is impossible to resist the pizza temptations. But we all want a healthy and fit body and keep saying ‘no’ to pizza. Or worse end up stuffing some yummy slices into our system. I think that both these situations are unhealthy :P. As if you don’t eat pizza, you are craving and if you do, you are gaining (weight). Here we present Cauliflower Pizza Base Recipe – low Carb Pizza Recipe which will help you lose weight instead of gaining.

I must be sounding like a bad girl right now but I have a good news for you! You can eat pizzas and stay fit too. Don’t give me that dirty look now.

Today I will tell you a pizza base recipe that needs no refined flour or maida. This pizza base is made up of cauliflowers! Yes, a pizza base made up of this mean vegetable. And though it doesn’t taste like our regular pizza, it is delicious. You can’t tell that the pizza is made up of cauliflowers.

Check out the ingredients for cauliflower pizza:-

  • 2 cups grated cauliflower
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup  shredded mozzarella
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • salt as per taste
  • black pepper.


1- Take grated cauliflower and microwave it. You don’t need water in the bowl and also do not cover it. Microwave the cauliflower for 8 minutes and let it cool down.

2) – Now add cauliflower, cheese, egg, minced garlic, salt , black pepper and oregano in a bowl.I took the below pic before adding eggs so you don’t forget that.

3- Make a round base on a greased pizza pan using the dough.In the pic below I made a rectangular base..Was trying to be little experimental but it was not a good idea.So please make round base all the time.

4- Preheat the oven to 450 degree Fahrenheit. Bake the base for 15 minutes. It will turn golden-brown.

5- Take it out and spread pizza sauce and sprinkle cheese on it. Now top it up with shredded chicken or  vegetables like capsicum and fruits like pineapple.

6- Broil the pizza for around 4 minutes. Cheese will start melting.

7- Now cut the pizza into sections and enjoy it hot.

So people! Now you know that you can enjoy a pizza and stay in shape.

Also, I make my own pizza sauce. I just boil 2-3 tomatoes and peel them and throw some onion, garlic , tomatoes, green chilli , salt and pepper and let it cook. Spread this paste on your pizza. I assure you your pizza will turn out yummy.

You will need a fork to eat this pizza but it will give you 90%  of the same pizza taste and of course you can have this every week 😉 I have it twice a week and enjoy it like anything 🙂
