Easy Pomegranate Tea Recipe For Fat Loss

A big hello to our super lovely readers! 😀 Today I am in a great mood! I was going through my old photo albums and was almost getting nostalgic when suddenly got a call from an old school friend of mine! We talked about hell lot of things and she also reminded me of the tasty pomegranate tea we used to make when she used to come over to my place after school sometimes! Gah! I miss school life! 🙁 Well who doesn’t? Anyway, our conversation has reminded me of this delicious pomegranate tea recipe which I am going to share with all of you today. I am guessing many of you out there already know this recipe since it is an old grandma recipe. 🙂 It is super easy and really tasty and like I mentioned already, it helps in fat loss! 🙂

So let’s check out the things we need and the method to make it!

Ingredients:

  • 1/3rd cup of fresh and ripe pomegranate.
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • A pestle.
  • 2/3rd cup warm water.

Method:

  • Take the pestle in your hand and gently crush the pomegranate for about a minute and let it get all juicy!

  • Add a teaspoon of honey slowly!

  • Warm 2/3rd cup of water and pour it in your cup over the blend of crushed juicy pomegranate and honey.

  • Mix and let it sit for about 20 seconds.
  • Enjoy this!

How to enjoy this tea:

  • Sip your tea merrily and take a spoon to scoop out the sediment pomegranate at the bottom of your cup and munch on them.
  • Well yes you are right! Now have another sip! 🙂

Note:

  • You can skip the honey if your pomegranates are like really sweet but adding honey to warm water and consuming it simply boosts metabolic rate so I recommend adding it since more your BMR gets high, more fat you will lose!
  • Do not boil the water. Boiling water lowers the goodness level of honey!

    • Naah! No leaves here,only the crushed pomegranate seeds are needed to make this tea!
      But in green tea we need to ‘add’ green tea ‘leaves’ and ‘strain them’..
      These two have totally different process/method of preparation! 🙂
