How To Re-energize Yourself When Tired

This week has been undoubtedly the most tiring week for me in the past 1 year. I came back from office at 12 am.. 2 am another day and the trend continued entire week 🙁  . Since the time FinessVsWeightLoss is born, there has not been a single day when I did not open my lappi after returning from office. This week it happened twice !

I stay away from blog only when its a die situation for me, so you can understand how tired I am feeling right now. I am exhausted physically and mentally both. Now I am thinking what to do !

I will do a few things that have always helped me to rejuvenate or re energize myself  when I am so dead !

Tea/Coffee to my rescue !

When I am dead tired, the only thing I think about is Tea. It is not a permanent solution but gives me the much needed kick needed to get me moving. With a cup of tea, I am able to push myself to get up from my a**  😀 !


Usually while low carbing, I refrain myself from sugary fruits. But when I am tired, I splurge on juices and shakes of banned fruits like banana, mango and cheeku. Juices are higher in carbs, give me energy instantly. Also, my tired hungry self ,  “wana have something nice today” usually leads me to cheesy maggi or alferodo pasta 🙁 . Juices take care of my sweet tooth, tired body and senses and prevent me to eat junk.

Sleep Debt

I cannot make up for the lost sleep for last week but I can certainly sleep well , like a dead horse 😛 .

How To get over fatigue

Take a break (Not Kit Kat break )

Take a break from your usual cores and go out walk or do yoga. Little exercise or activity can help you get over fatigue. Meditation with Pranayama works best for me. Try it !

Pamper Yourself

A foot reflexology, head massage or an aroma massage can help you bouce back to life ! I don’t need a reason to pamper myself, self obsessed I am 😛 . I am thinking of a head massage today, badly need it !

Double the Multivitamins

Multivitamins are so underrated. They can prevent you from infections. For example, when I realize that I have sore throat and 2 days later, I will end up with bad cold and cough, I double the multivitamins , ooh yes it works every time. Same goes for fatigue ! my favorite multivitamin is here.

Eat Healthy

This is the conventional and oooh so boring funda, but can’t get enough of it. Nothing heals your body more than healthy food, period !
