As we all know this day is celebrated in three phases.
It is supposedly the most troublesome part of the day of Karwa Chauth fast as it has to be completed before sunrise. For this to be made into a healthy beginning of the day it is important to follow certain simple rules.
Consume 200 ml of coconut water as it provides electrolyte in your body.
One banana and some Pomegranate seeds to keep you hydrated all through the day and to stop acidity.
Adding few soaked nuts for that kick of omega 3 keeping energy level up throughout the day is a good idea.
Too much of sweet must be avoided.
Have curd with one vegetable like cauliflower stuffed roti with Deshi ghee applied on it after removing roti from the pan to cut on unnecessary fat.
Have water at the end and please do not overeat.

Enjoy any herb infused water (cinnamon, elaichi, cucumber, mint) to avoid acidity. These days most of the women have nimbu or nariyal paani after pooja.

Start your dinner with salad.
Please do not sit after dinner but, go for a very short walk.

Do not eat heavy fried food after breaking the fast.
Avoid outside food, homemade is always better for a detoxed body.
You must have jeera n ajwain water to avoid bloating at night. Prepare it during the day by soaking 1/2 tsp of jeera and 1/2 tsp of ajwain. You must have it before going to bed after sieving it.
