Post baby, Kim Kardashian has done wonders by losing several kilos and getting back to her hourglass figure. Kim’s body is fuller and curvaceous. Her personal trainer Gunnar Peterson has chalked out the right workout plan for her. She works out twice a day.

She is quite serious when it comes to her workouts. Here you go with her workout schedule:

The morning workout includes the following:

  • Performing cardiovascular exercise.
  • She keeps interchanging cardio intervals with abdominal, upper body and lower body exercises. This helps in keeping the heart rate up, maximizes loss of fat and also tones her muscles.

At night the workout is as follows:

  • She does Pilates or strength training.
  • Completes strengthening circuits. This is done at least three times each week. Her circuits consist of squats, push-ups, lunges, curls, shoulder presses, high kicks and various other strengthening moves.
  • In between these exercises, she jumps rope, dances or does jumping jacks to ensure that he body burns fat.

Kim is maintaining an hour-glass figure with the help of Pilates. You too can get the curves if your Pilates workout focuses on the hips, legs and the thighs.

  1. Pelvic Curl – The pelvic curl exercise is a gentle warm up for the abdominals and the spine. It coordinates the breath and movement of the body. It primarily works for the lower body.
  2. Heel Beats – It is one of the best exercise for the hips, which works the hamstrings, the upper back and the lower back and strengthens them.
  3. Pilates Swimming – Pilates swimming exercise brings all the body parts into play, i.e. it works all the parts of the body. It is both a challenging and a fun-filled exercise.
  4. Double Leg Kick – It is considered to be an intermediate level exercise. This exercise requires support from whole body. It is a powerful back extension exercise that targets the back extensors and hamstrings.

Kim Kardashian’s Diet plan for losing weight

You are what you eat. The rule that applies for commoners also applies for Kim Kardashian. After all celebrities too are humans! She lost about 50 pounds within six months after her delivery. Her carbohydrate intake was restricted to 60 gms a day. The diet being low in carbs, high in fat, was a diet designed for rapid weight loss. It was a ketogenic diet in which the body burns fats instead of carbohydrates.

She consumed 2,000 calories a day that comprised of:

  • Proteins that included of fish, meat and chicken.
  • Healthy fats inclusive of olive oil, nuts and avocado.
  • Low starch veggies.
  • Fruits, that mainly consisted of berries.
