Let me jump back to today’s post( I am seldom in a mood to spare people of my rant 😀 ).  This post is about Vitamin C supplement – Limcee , available in India.

Vini, our wonderful writer has explained All About Vitamin C here. You all know that Vitamin C can’t be synthesized by body and hence we should eat more citrus food items for its intake.

Now my 2 cents –

1. If you smoke, Vitamin C that you get from food , no matter how much citrus fruits/veggies you eat, its in vain ! Smoking burns your vitamin C intake.

2. If you avoid eating citrus  fruits like lemon, orange etc due to any reason for example tonsils, you are likely to be deficient in Vitamin C.

3. I said only 2 cents lol 😀

What is Limcee ?

Its a Vitamin C supplement inn the form of a chewable tablet. You don’t need to gulp it down your throat, you can just eat it happily. It tastes delicious :P, just like orange candy.

How to Use Limcee ?

1 tablet after any meal is fine. If you are a smoker , please have 1 tablet every cigarette you smoke !

Price

10 Rs for each tablet. The strip has 10 tablets as far as I remember.

I have been using Limcee for about 3 months and have not experienced any side effects. This does not mean that you should stop eating healthy and rely only on supplements. The supplements are in no way replacement to healthy eating, period !

  1. Nice post as always and the pic is indeed messy 😐 . By the way, I really liked the info that you have provided about how smoking interferes with vitamin C absorption. I used to be a smoker once. Thank god I have quit it. Been two years already and still going strong 🙂

      I am so proud that you have quit, not an easy thing to do. Not many people have the determination to quit smoking ! Hats off to you Mr. Fit 🙂

      • hey dear hi jst wanted to know does limcee helps in weight gain or weight loss coz my mom is saying me that not to eat limcee coz its an mulitvitamin tablet and i will gain weight which i dnt wnt at all 😛

      • Can u plz tell me how many maximum tablets in a day? Coz i chew it like an candy. So i want to know that is there any problem if i take 5_6 everyday? Thnx for the time

        • Hi, Anything in excess is bad. There are possible side-effects like Headache, Pink Or Bloody Urine, Diarrhea, Flushing Or Redness Of Skin, Stomach Upset, Side Or Lower Back Pain..that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Limcee Tablet. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.

  2. Yes I starting taking limcee in the month of August, almost 5 months have been crossed and have observed that immunity is increased and my skin did improved. I take limcee ritually along with Supradyn for my dark circles !!

  3. I have been consuming vitamin c supplements from quite some time now, mostly for increased immunity, I keep on alternating between celine and limcee for a change 🙂

  16. Iam a body builder and m taking limcee since mny months.. it feels like as of m eating an orange chocolate n its vry nice.. but jus i wanted to know the limit coz m chewing 6-7 limcee tablets per day.. as of now dint feel any side effects..
