4) Make healthy food swaps
You can swap unhealthy foods for healthier versions. You can consume brown pasta and rice in place of the regular ones. The brown variety has more fibre and is better for health. The same can be done with bread. Choose multigrain or whole meal bread. Choose the sweet potatoes over the white ones and add more veggies to your meal. Keep a treat for yourself as it perfectly alright to go in for something sweet once a day and a cheat meal once in a while.
5) Put a pause on emotional eating
Due to the rise in stress, most people give in to emotional eating. They search for chocolate cake, cheese burst pizza, ice cream and what not. The key is self-control; when you feel that you are crossing your limits juts go for a bath, star applying nail paint or do deep breathing. It will certainly help.
6) Sleep tight
Your aim should be to get a minimum of 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night. This will bring down stress and make you feel rejuvenated. Lack of sleep can have adverse effects on health. Go to bed at the same hour and try to wake up at the same time in the morning. Make sure you have some kind of bed time rituals for better sleep.
