Low Carb Creamy Cottage Cheese Recipe
Cottage Cheese or Paneer is my staple. I can have it everyday. Full fat fresh paneer is great for nutrition and weight loss too. I am sharing this recipe which is my go to recipe. It does not need too many ingredients and preparation time is less than 20 minutes. Chopping time is negligible, I like that 😉
Low Carb Creamy Cottage Cheese Recipe
Ingredients

Cottage Cheese/Paneer – 200 grams

Fresh Cream – 50 grams

Onion – 2 medium sized

Tomato – 3 medium sized
-
Ghee – 1 tsp
-
Butter – 1 tsp
-
Spices – salt, garam masala, coriander, turmeric, red chilli powder as per taste
How to make this yummy Low Carb Creamy Cottage Cheese Recipe
- Cut onion and tomato. You need not chop them to bits, you will see why 😉
- Heat wok and add ghee to it. Wait till it gets heated. You can use non stick pan. I try to make my dishes in iron wok since my haemoglobin always dances around, and iron wok provides additional iron to my food.
- Add onion to the wok and cook for 5 minutes till onion becomes light golden. Add all spices.
- Add tomato and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Transfer the contents of your wok to a blender, add water and blend till you get consistent gravy. That’s why no chopping required 😉 . You can also blend onion and tomato separately first and then cook onion first and then add tomato. I cook and then blend together to save time 😛 .
- Transfer the gravy back to the wok.
- Meanwhile, saute paneer in a pan using 1 tsp butter. I saute paneer side by side while preparing the gravy.
- Transfer paneer to gravy and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add cream and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Relish a bowl of this dish alone or with brown rice , its yummm 😀
