Low Carb High Fiber
Strawberry Yoghurt Recipe
I love fruit yogurt but its sugar content scares me. Here is what I tried today to satiate my sweet tooth and have a healthy less than 100 calorie snack. My yesterday’s shopping included some lovely strawberries and raspberries which made me realize I could prepare fruit yogurt of my liking.
While eating low carb, it is important to increase fiber content in food which I did by adding a spoonful of psyllium husk (Isabgol). Read why psyllium husk is a boon for weight watchers here.

this is always a staple at my home, everyone loves it but the idea of adding psyllium husk is great 😉
Oh nice Dhaara– isabgol is good for tum too… and adds fibre to the food— Enjoy. 🙂
v nice….! still has 11 carbs but one or twice in a week is fine for me.
oye net carbs 7 g 😀
Tarun we better do Net Carb thing now… 😉
Anamika, we can always afford 7 net carbs for a full bowl, though I like to keep my serving in the fridge and then keep having a spoonfull whole day after meals as dessert. works for my sweet tooth. 🙂
If you follow keto then u have to limit to to 20 😀 imagine ..although i am always reaching 30 -40
Anamika 20 carbs doesn’t mean TOTAL CARBS — it means NET CARBS– and then you can always have half serving in one day. If you really wish to cut more carbs then keep curd and full fat cream 50% each. Adding isabgol gives you more fiber and helps you eat more variety of foods. Hope I can make myself clear. ::)
but 7 gm is too cool..
Wow kanan nice recipe. I haven’t got stevia yet pls suggest any online site

Rupali you can buy stevia from here. 🙂
Got GAIA stevia and it was bitter.. 🙁 is there something wrong with the pack I got?
Anjalee, dont put stevia while making tea in the pan. Put it in prepared tea in your mug. Do the same for all eatables, add it in the end.
Yupp Kannn ji & Taru, used it in the same way & still its bitter.. i mean stevia pill is bitter when i tasted it directly.. may be i got defective piece.. lemme check
Anjali I was just going through some articles on Stevia and read that some people find it bitter in taste— I think You are one of those— 🙂 Will have to develop taste for it.
Thanks.. 🙂
