You know jaggery very well but what is this palm jaggery? Well, ‘palm jaggery’ is the jaggery made from palm tree extracts. It is darker in colour than jaggery made from sugar cane. Jaggery is a traditional type of unrefined, amorphous and non-distilled sugar. Palm jaggery is used in making sweets, candies, toffees and lots more.
