Post Workout Meal India-Eggs And Avocado
Hello Fitness Freaks,
It seems like writing after a long time here was really boosting for me and I am all uptight about the workouts and gym sessions in the coming days. I and quite strict about my diet and workout sessions but somehow I observed that in spite of doing all the diet related stuff and workout sessions, I am not able to budge the weight plateau!
As I already shared that I have engaged myself to a gym membership, I am looking forward to losing few pounds and see if the workout change is going to work or not!
In this regard, i have also thought about being regular about my updates on what I have in my post workout meal on a day to day basis. This will be a good idea for me as well as I would be able to know more from my readers and get some post workout meal ideas.
Well, I will try to be regular in updating about my meals! So lets go for the first meal idea for the day-
I usually have this meal within 30 minutes after completing my workout. I promise this is a very filling meal. It is just a slice of multi-grain bread, a bowl of mashed avocado and one egg.
Benefits of Egg Post Workout-
Egg as we all know is a great source of protein and is very apt for Low Carb followers who are non-vegetarian. They are low in calories and packed with the essential vitamins which are great for the replenishing mechanism of the body post workout!
Benefits of Avocado-
Avocado is yet another fruit which is quite popular when it comes to eating healthy for the body. The fruit is devoid of cholesterol and consists of very low amounts of saturated fats. It is widely known for the health fat contents. It consists of vitamins C, E, K, and B-6 and many more essential nutrients for the proper body functions!
It is rich in fiber and is often linked to reducing blood sugar levels to an optimum range, aid in weight loss and many other heart related diseases.
How To Prepare- Eggs & Avocado Post Workout Meal
To prepare this meal you going to need the following-
- Ripe Avocado
- 1tsp White Vinegar
- 1 pinch chilli powder/ chilli flakes
- 1 pinch salt
For preparing the avocado mash, take a ripe avocado and try to mash it. If it doesn’t get mashed properly then best is to grind it in a mixer. Add white vinegar, chilli powder/ chilli flakes and small amount of table salt.
Next step is to spread this mash on a grilled bread and add some slices of boiled egg. Sprinkle some black pepper powder & salt on it!
You post workout meal is ready!
