You all must be wondering what is Psyllium Husk. It is an amazing shrub-like herb that is most commonly found in our own country, India. Our parents if not us, know it really well by the name of Isabgol. It first originated in India itself. And later on, became very popular in other western countries.

How to include Psyllium Husk in your daily diet
It is very simple. Just add A teaspoon of it to a 200ml glass of room temperature water, simply stir with a spoon and drink it immediately before it thickens.(Remember don’t leave it for too long or else it will thicken up.
Once you get used to it, you can slowly increase the amount to a tablespoon. If taking for weight loss consume it half an hour before meals, and you will feel slightly fuller than normal. If don’t want to lose weight, you can still simply take it any time of the day, because remember it is full of fiber, and these days we don’t get adequate fiber from fruits and vegetables, due to the kind of diet we consume.
Note- When consuming Psyllium husk remember to consume an adequate amount of water at least 8-10 glasses daily. Water is always good for health, the more you consume the better it is.
