Mint and banana smoothie

Ingredients

Mint leaves – 1/3 cup

Lemon juice- ½ lemon

Bananas- 2 to 3

Grated ginger – 1/2 tsp

Soaked raisins- 1 tbsp

Method

Crush the mint leaves along with lemon juice in a blender.

Add bananas and blend well.

Add the other ingredients to it and blend.

Pour in water if needed.  Have it chilled.

Celery and Apple Shake

Ingredients ( Use organic ingredients)

Lettuce – 1 bunch, finely chopped

Celery – 3 stalks

Spinach – ½ a bunch

Pear – 1

Green apple – 1

Lemon juice- 1 lemon

Method

Blend lettuce at a low speed till it becomes a smooth.

Add in spinach, celery, pear and apples and blend properly at a high speed.

Add the juice of one lemon and have it chilled.

Green delight shake

Ingredients

Green grapes – 1 cup

Pineapple, chopped– ¼ cup

Spinach , finely chopped – 1 cup

Lettuce – 1 cup

Ice cubes – 1 cup

Method

Blend all the ingredients well in a blender so that you get a shake of a smooth consistency.

Top it up with ice cubes and enjoy!!

Citrus Green Shake

Ingredients

Broccoli, chopped – 1 cup

Celery – 4 stalks

Orange – 1, large

Ginger – ½ tsp, finely grated

Method

Blend the celery with the orange for 30 seconds at high speed.

Add in the broccoli and ginger and blend well.

Have it chilled.

Spinach and coconut smoothie

Ingredients

Seedless green grapes- 1 cup

Spinach- 1 cup

Coconut milk- 1/4 cup

Method

Add the grapes, spinach, and coconut milk in a blender and blend until smooth and frothy.

Enjoy it chilled

    what is the best time to consume smoothie?
    empty stomach / as a meal / in the evening.

    After consuming smoothie should we not eat anything for say 2 hours?

    • Hi Smita! You can have a green smoothie for breakfast to kick start your day! Having it for lunch is also a good idea. Make sure it is filling!
