This DVD based workout created by Shaun T is a 60-day plan that allows you the benefits of a workout at the comfort of your own home. Insanity follows a rigorous six-day-a-week schedule where your body undergoes resistance, cardio and plyometric drills along with subsequent intervals of strength, core work and power resistance.
2) Focus T25
These 25 minutes are guaranteed to break you into a sweat while doing this programme. Also developed by Shaun T, this 11-workout series focuses on one muscle group at a time and moves to the next exercise without any break. This programme asks for a five days a week commitment for high intensity and cardio training. It includes exercises like squats, pushups, high knees and cross overs.
3) PiYo Workout
Instructed by trainer Chalene Johnson, this routine is a low impact hybrid routine to fight that fat.
It includes strengthening of yoga and muscle sculpting from Pilates resulting in “PiYo”.
4) 7-Minute Workout
A circuit of 12 body weight exercises which is scientifically proved to reduce fat in less than 7 minutes. The idea is to do every exercise for 30 seconds, followed by 10 seconds of rest resulting in major cardio-revving and muscle-building benefits.
5) Kettlebell Workout
This style involves the actual use of a kettlebell to build endurance, strength, and power. You can incorporate a combination of squats and swings, for a killer total body workout that crushes major calories in a short amount of time.
6) Tabata Workout
Only four minutes and you will fall in love with it. Tabata has a high-intensity interval training in the form of a 8-cycle circuit consisting of 20 seconds of hard work, followed by 10 seconds of rest. To help boost your aerobic and anaerobic capacity, it works with running, spinning and weightlifting.
7) Body Beast
A 90 day plan with you sweating six days a week wherein each day is met with different kind of challenges. It follows “dynamic set training,” where your muscles get fatigues which fire up your metabolism. a defined, lean, and muscular physique by including a f light weight with high reps and heavy weight with low reps.
8) Burpee Workout
This workout is super challenging and yield awesome toning results. It involves variations – single-leg burpees, burpee box jumps, plank jack burpees, burpee with overhead press which keeps our bodies transforming continuously.
9) 5×5 Workout
If bulking up is your aim then this is the perfect workout for you. This 5×5 program has been developed by Arnold’s Schwarzenegger’s mentor Reg Park in 1960. This workout involves lifting heavy weights to increase your strength and further encompasses five compound exercises – squat, bench press, deadlift, overhead press, and barbell row. You have to perform 5 sets of 5 reps of three of the above exercises in each 45-minute segment.
