1) Strawberry paste
Take a fresh strawberry and crush it. Mix it up with fine sea salt and grind it in order to get a paste. Take this paste and transfer it to a toothbrush. Start brushing your teeth in a gentle manner with it. Rinse your teeth thoroughly after a few minutes. Doing this every fifteen days helps in protecting your tooth enamel.
2) Banana peel
Banana peel is usually considered useless but do you know that it has substances that help in avoiding dental plaque and maintain the colour of the teeth. You simply need to rub the inside of the banana peel on to the teeth and then brush your teeth after you wait for 5-7 mins.
3) Coconut oil
Take a small amount of coconut oil and apply it on the teeth. Let it stay for 15 to 20 minutes and then brush your teeth well. Doing this twice or thrice a week will make your teeth look good.
4) DIY Herbal toothpaste
You can make a toothpaste of your own by mixing a teaspoon of turmeric to the same amount of coconut oil along with 2 to 3 drops of mint oil. Tada! Your new DIY toothpaste is ready. It takes good care of your enamel, helps whitening your teeth and freshens the breath.
5) Aloe vera
If you want an attractive smile, you should apply the juice of aloe vera or its gel on your teeth after you brush. Massage it to the teeth with the help of a toothbrush and rinse it well thereafter.
6) Basil leaves paste

7) Tea tree oil rinse
To half a glass of water, add 5 drops of pure tea tree oil. Rinse your mouth with it every day after you brush. It will make your teeth whiter and healthier within a month’s time.
Apply a mixture of ground charcoal and water on your teeth and leave it for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, rinse your mouth thoroughly and brush your teeth. Do this once or twice a week to get the best results.
